Our Programs
SEL DAY.
Every other week we go spend the day with children at Afe neg Kombit Orphanage, in Kenscoff, where we provide social emotional learning opportunities. One week we engage in SEL games and entertainment, the next week we challenge the children with STEAM activities. Our goal is to add an orphanage every other quarter, so that we can provide learning opportunites to as many children as possible.
You Got Next Mentorship.
You Got Next, is our mentorship program that pairs students and orphans with a responsible, dedicated mentor. Our mentors communicate with their children every week, strategically setting educational and personal goals. Our mentors are not just fun and games, they help the children progress academically and socially with routine evaluations.
Define Discipline.
Define Discipline, is our self-defense and discipline workshop that we provide at the orphanage. This program is designed not only to install the principles of discipline but to also educate children about how to actively apply discipline in their everyday choices. Children that are in school must maintain academic proficiency to participate. The program takes students through the art of western boxing, tai chi, and quarterstaff training. Children are taught to defend themselves while also mastering the art of discipline and self-control.
